Expat Bakeries in Merida

Escargot  is a favorite spot that most of guests make a point of going to early in the morning when the croissants and sweet breads are coming out of the oven.  You can enjoy the fresh baked goods there with a coffee or take them home for breakfast or le petit goute de l'apres-midi. 

Monique's Bakery has moved a few times so the best place to find her is on facebook or on saturdays at the slow food market.  I am addicted to her sour dough. She has a new location somewhere out there in the suburbs and she healthy food and drinks but I've no idea where it is and by the time I find it she may have moved again.
